This a first printing of the UK First Edition as indicated by the "First published in 1998 by Hodder and Stoughton" statement with full 10 to 1 number line. A lovely square copy which appears to be unread. Sharp clean blue boards with gold blocking to spine, white endpapers. Internally clean but for a previous sellers pencilled price to the FEP (can be erased but I don’t like to). Text block shows only the slightest discolouration (age tanning is a common fault with this title). Equally sharp DJ has £16.99 price intact on front flap. Flat signed in my presence by Simon Clark at the World Horror Convention, Brighton, March 2010. Scarce in this kind of condition, especially signed. A copy for the serious Clark / horror collector.
