This a first printing of the UK First Edition of the authors debut novel as indicated by the "First published in Great Britain in 1989 by.." statement with no subsequent printings mentioned. A very reasonable copy with a very slight lean and a touch of flattening to the spine ends. Corners of the maroon boards very slightly blunted with a small shipping bump to upper edge of front board. Very light signs of shelf wear to the lower edges. Bright DJ shows a little creasing at the extremities and the spine is somewhat sun faded. £12.95 price is intact on front flap. Morris is the only author I have come across who started his career funded by the British Government (on their Enterprise Allowance Scheme no less!). Flat signed by Mark Morris to the title page in my presence at the World Horror Convention, Brighton, March 2010. A scarce edition and almost impossible to find signed copies.REF893
