The Sleepless UK First Edition

Graham Masterton. The Sleepless. Heinemann 1993. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good / Good +. This a first printing of the UK first edition as indicated by the “First published in Great Britain 1993 by William Heinemann Ltd” statement with no subsequent printings mentioned. Black boards, silver lettering to spine, white endpapers. Front board has a light stain, back board has a few rub marks, head and tail of spine ever so ever so slightly flattened (me being picky), silver lettering on spine immaculate. The book has been carefully read but stands very square and feels solidly bound. Unless you opened it you couldn’t tell it had been read. The text block is clean but for a sellers pencilled price on the FEP (can be erased but I don’t like to). Edges very lightly soiled. The DJ shows a little light surface rubbing to the back panel, front panel clean and bright. There is some rubbing to varying degrees along all the edges and at the tips of the flap folds. £15.99 price is intact on front flap. This is a very scarce edition and I have maybe made it sound worse than it actually is. It is a much better than decent copy and I have been quite happy to have it on my shelf. REF C1433
