This a first printing of the UK First Edition as indicated by the "First published 1997 by Macmillan" statement with full print line. Sharp clean blue boards with silver lettering to spine. Upper corners of both front an rear board a little bumped / turned otherwise a very fine unread copy with a bright clean white text block. DJ very bright and glossy. Some creasing to the upper tips of the front and rear flap fold, head of spine a little creased and a little occasional light edge creasing. Front cover shows a few occasional pressure spots. £16.99 price is intact on front flap. Very scarce in fine unread condition and this copy given even greater appeal as it was signed by Phil in my presence and dated 24/7/2012. Great copy for the serious collector !
