Richard Laymon. Savage. Headline 1993. First Edition. Original Wraps. Galley/Proof. Very Good Plus. This an uncorrected proof of the UK First Edition. White wraps with red print. Spine is flat and uncreased showing a little light rubbing to the head and tail. Both front and rear panels show light edge rubbing. Front panel lightly creased down the spine hinge, small diagonal crease to upper right tip, lower right tip a little blunted creased. Some idiot circled the harback price/ISBN in ink. Back cover shows a little light rubbing and some creasing to the lower right corner. This appears to be an unread copy. Internally the text block is clean and bright. A few of the pages have slightly blunted/turned tips. Foredge shows a small splash stain. So not a minter but nonetheless still in very good condition and amazingly scarce - as are all Laymon proofs ! Ref C685
