Macabre Signed UK First Edition

Stephen Laws. Macabre. Hodder & Stoughton 1994. First Edition. Hard Cover. Signed by Author. Fine / Near Fine. This a first printing of the UK First Edition as indicated by the "First published in Great Britain in 1994 by Hodder & Stoughton" statement with full 10 to 1 number line. Clean black boards with silver lettering to spine, white endpapers. A nice square standing copy, appears unread. Head of spine ever so slightlycrunched. Internally clean though the edges a little age discoloured. Upper edge of text block shows a little very faint foxing. DJ nice and bright showing a faint crease to the upper edge of the front panel and the lower right near the flap fold. The all important £15.99 price on the front flap is intact. Overall a really nice copy of an extraordinarily scarce First Edition. Nearly all the first printings went to libraries. This copy made especially collectible as it was flat signed by Stephen in my presence at the Bournemouth Horrorlitic event. Priced to sell ! (I've seen copies on sale for double or even triple this amount in the past !!)
