Originally published in Great Britain in 1979 by Hamlyn\nPaperbacks this is a first printing of the Arrow paperback edition as indicated\nby the \u201cArrow Edition 1987\u201d statement with no subsequent printings mentioned.\nSpine shows some light vertical reading creases, a little rubbed to the head\nand tail. Front cover, still glossy, shows some light edge wear, a few\nhandling\/pressure marks and is slightly bumped to the lower left corner. Back\ncover shows light edge wear with a couple of faint diagonal creases to the\nlower left. Internally clean but for a pencilled notation to the half title\n(can be erased but I don\u2019t like to). This copy flat signed by the author on the\ntitle page in my presence.
