Icebound UK First Edition

Dean Koontz. Icebound. Headline 1995. First Edition. Hard Cover. Fine / Near Fine. This a first printing of the UK First Edition as indicated by the "First published in 1995 by Headline Book Publishing" statement with full 10-1 number line. Originally published as "Prison of Ice" under the David Axton pseudonym, Koontz revised and updated the text for this, the only trade hardback edition. Sharp clean blue boards with gold blocking to spine, white endpapers. This a very nice square standing unread copy. Being really picky the head and tail of the spine are ever so slightly flattened. The text block is clean though slightly discoloured (a common problem with all Headline books from this period though this copy nowhere near as bad as many other titles I have seen). The DJ is clean and bright showing just the lightest of surface rubbing/pressure marks (none to the raised foil lettering!) and some very minor creasing to the edges otherwise in fine condition. The £16.99 price is intact on the front flap. An extraordinarily scarce edition particularly in this kind of condition. Most hardbacks you will see will be book club editions so be careful if buying.
