Sharp black boards with gold lettering to\nspine, head & tail bands. Book has a very slight lean but is\nstill a  very tight unread copy. There is a  touch of very minor\nrubbing to the base of the spine, edge of text block very slightly\nsoiled. DJ is in very nice shape showing only a touch of very faint\ncreasing to the extremities. Very scarce in this 1st printing state\n(reportedly only 2000 were done). I have seen copies for sale at over\n$140 making this copy something of a bargain !! This a first printing of the UK Hard Back Book Club Edition as indicated by the "This edition published 1992 by BCA" statement with no subsequent printings / impressions mentioned. Officially this is the World First Edition of this title being published prior to the UK trade hardback and thus is extremely collectable. Sharp black boards with gold lettering to spine, head & tail bands. Book has a very slight lean but is still a very tight unread copy. There is a touch of very minor rubbing to the base of the spine, edge of text block very slightly soiled. DJ is in very nice shape showing only a touch of very faint creasing to the extremities. Very scarce in this 1st printing state (reportedly only 2000 were done). I have seen copies for sale at over $140 making this copy something of a bargain !! REFC330
