This a first printing of the UK first edition as indicated by the “First published 1982” statement with no subsequent printings mentioned. Sharp clean black boards, gold blocking to spine, white endpapers. Tail of spine ever so slightly flattened. A tight square standing unread copy. Internally clean if a little age discoloured. The fragile DJ is not too shabby at all. Head and tail of the slightly sun faded spine are just a tad creased. Front cover is clean showing only the lightest edge rubbing. Back panel shows some edge rubbing and the flap fold shows some surface rubbing though nothing horrendous. The upper tip of the rear flap fold is quite heavily rubbed. Front flap has £6.95 price intact. Finding unread copies is pretty hard these days and this copy is much better than many.
