Flights Of Fear UK First Edition

£ 79.95

Graham Masterton. Flights Of Fear. Severn House 1995. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. This a first printing of the UK first edition as indicated by the “This first world edition published in Great Britain in 1995 by Severn House Publishers Ltd” statement with no subsequent printings/impressions mentioned. Clean black boards with gold blocking to spine, white endpapers. Upper right tip of front board very slightly bumped, head and tail of spine slightly flattened, very minor bump to lower edge of rear board. The book stands square and is tightly bound (for the most part it appears to be an unread copy but I have a feeling the first thirty or so pages have been read). Text block is clean but for one very minor mark on FEP. The upper edge is ever so lightly soiled. The DJ is not too shabby at all showing just a touch of the common spine fading (I have never seen a copy without this and this is better than most), a few minor pressure marks and one faint scratch on back panel, a little creasing to the lower edge of the back panel and some rubbing to the upper tips of the flap folds.£15.99 & $22 prices are intact on the front flap (for those who don’t know Severn House distributed their books in the US too). This is a very scarce edition, as most copies ended up in the library system in the UK, and doesn’t appear on the secondary market very often.
