This a first printing of the UK / US first edition as indicated by the “This first world edition published in Great Britain 1996 by Severn House Publishers Ltd” and “First published in the USA by Severn House Publishers Inc” statements with no subsequent printings mentioned. Sharp clean black boards with gold blocking to spine, white endpapers. Head of spine very slight;y flattened. Book has a slight lean and appears to have been carefully read. Sewn binding is robust. Internally clean with no signs of previous ownership, store/library stamps etc. Upper edge of text block very slightly stained / dust soiled. Head of the faded DJ spine ever so slightly crunched. Front panel nicely saturated showing a little light surface rubbing. Upper tip of the front flap fold a little rubbed. Rear panel shows a little light edge wear / creasing and some light surface rubbing. £16.99 and US$24 prices intact on the front flap. Flat signed by the author on the title page dated “May 10 ‘08” this is a very decent example of an extraordinarily rare title – most having ended up in the library system.
