This a first (and only) printing of the UK first edition as indicated by the “W H Allen London 1985” statement on the title page and the lack of any subsequent printings/impressions on the copyright page. Sharp clean pictorial boards (no DJ as issued), white endpapers. Head and tail of spine just a tad flattened. A tight square unread copy. Internally clean but for a small rub/stain to the upper right corner of the FEP. No signs of previous ownership. Some discolouration/soiling to the bottom edge of text block. This novelization based upon the 1966 original script by the author. Overall a very nice example of a pretty rare hardback.
