This a first printing of the UK first edition (paperback original) as indicated by the “A Target Book Published in 1979” statement with no subsequent printings mentioned. Flat uncreased spine shows only the most minor wear at the head and tail. Front cover clean and bright, ever so slightly rubbed to the corner tips, lower right ever so slightly turned, very faint diagonal pressure crease from the top edge. Back cover clean and bright, ever so slightly rubbed at the corner tips. Tightly bound and clearly unread. Internally clean, no signs of previous ownership, store stamps etc. if a little age discoloured as expected (more so at the edges). Lower edge of text block slightly soiled. Overall a very decent example of a scarce first printing which is getting harder and harder to find in unread condition these days.
