Creed Signed UK First Edition

James Herbert. Creed. Hodder & Stoughton 1990. First Edition. Hard Cover. Signed by Author. Near Fine/Near Fine. This a first printing of the UK first edition as indicated by the “First published in Great Britain 1990” statement with no subsequent printings/impressions mentioned. Red boards with gold blocking to spine, white endpapers. But for a couple of very minor marks the boards are clean showing just a little light rubbing to the corners. Head and tail of spine lightly rubbed and a little flattened. The book is unread, stands very square. The text block is clean though a little age discoloured as common (I have seen much worse though). The DJ isn’t too shabby at all; clean and bright marred by a touch of light creasing to the upper edges, particularly at the head of the spine and the occasional pressure mark to the front and rear spine hinges. £12.95 price intact on front flap. This copy has been inscribed “To Andrea. Keep reading the books! Regards” and is signed by James Herbert. Uncommon signed.
