Mondo Zombie Signed Limited Edition

John Skipp (ed). Mondo Zombie. Cemetery Dance 2006. Limited Edition. Hard Cover. Signed by Author. Fine / Fine. This an "out of series" copy of the limited edition of 250 signed and numbered copies. This copy has no number designation and does not come with a slipcase as the numbered copies did. In all other respects it is identical to the numbered copies. Sharp clean crimson boards with gold foil blocking to spine, pictorial endpapers, head and tail bands. A very nice, tight, square standing copy (if read the carefully done – sewn book block makes it difficult to be sure) with clean book block. The well preserved DJ is in equally fine condition. Simultaneously released as a trade hardback whilst originally announced for publication in 2000 it did not see the light of day until 2006. Twenty nine signatures in all and includes "The Living Dead" by Richard Laymon. The numbered copies are not signed by him and his name is not even included on the limitation pages. The lettered copies, which have a different second signature page, are however signed by Laymon. This is strange as you would imagine that the signature pages for all editions would have been signed at the same time. Signed by the editor as well asNancy Kilpatrick, Brian Hodge, Jack Ketchum, Yvonne Navarro, Lucy Taylor (you gotta read “Fuck The Dead”!), Lisa Morton and Alan Clark amongst others. Quite scarce in any edition and this copy very reasonably priced due to the lack of slipcase.
